By accessing and using VerbalCheck, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Pilot Program Participation

VerbalCheck is currently operating as a pilot program. Participation in the pilot is voluntary and subject to:

• Administrative approval from your institution
• Completion of required training and onboarding
• Adherence to pilot timeline and requirements
• Submission of feedback and reflections as requested

3. User Responsibilities

Users of VerbalCheck agree to:

• Provide accurate information during registration and use
• Maintain the confidentiality of account credentials
• Use the platform in compliance with institutional policies
• Respect student privacy and data protection requirements
• Not attempt to circumvent security measures or access unauthorized data

4. Data and Privacy

VerbalCheck collects and processes data in accordance with FERPA and institutional policies. All student recordings and submissions are encrypted and stored securely. See our Privacy Policy for detailed information.

5. Intellectual Property

The VerbalCheck platform, including its software, design, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of their submitted content, including questions, assignments, and reflections.

6. Limitation of Liability

VerbalCheck is provided "as is" during the pilot phase. While we strive to ensure reliable service, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. VerbalCheck is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

7. Modifications to Service

VerbalCheck reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time during the pilot program. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes that may affect users.

8. Termination

Participation in the pilot may be terminated by either party with reasonable notice. Upon termination, users may request export or deletion of their data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
